Located in the heart of Boston's vibrant Jamaica Plain, Station 8 is a full service salon and spa offering a complete menu of hair, skin, and wellness services.
*Due to the ever-changing Covid restrictions, we have been unable to operate at the same capacity we are used to, and the amount of clients allowed inside the salon has been reduced yet again. This has seriously impacted the "bottom line" for us all. Due to the unpredictable climate we're living in, we understand that you may need to late-cancel or reschedule for one reason or another, however, this situation directly affects your stylists/esthetician's paycheck as they are 100% commission and it's becoming harder and harder to fill appointments, especially last minute. In order to protect our staff and the salon as a whole, our cancellation policy is as follows:
*Cancellations AND reschedules within 24 hours of appointment time will be charged 50% of the cost of service.
*Cancellations AND reschedules within 24 hours of appointment time due to a positive Covid diagnosis or exposure/quarantine will be charged 25% of the cost of service. Additionally, you will not be able to reschedule your appointment for at least two weeks from the date of cancellation.
*No-shows will be charged 100%.
*In order to enforce this mandatory policy, you will be REQUIRED to hold your appointment with a credit card. It will no longer be possible to book or hold an appointment without one.
At this time, we are by appointment only. Please arrive early for your appointment if possible. While we try to accommodate late clients, please keep in mind your appointment cannot be guaranteed if you are running more than 15 minutes behind. We require a credit card to hold an appointment so we can uphold our no-show & cancellation/ reschedule policy.
Station 8 aims to offer its clients a relaxing, complete salon experience. When you book an appointment for a haircut, the service provided includes a shampoo/conditioning, scalp massage, haircut, blowdry and style. The price of a haircut is the same for all clients: from $50-95 depending on the stylist. Please book an appointment for your child age 10 and above if this complete service is what you are looking for.
Children under 10 are strongly encouraged not to visit the salon.
Whether receiving a service or accompanying an adult, all children must possess the maturity to follow the instruction of the stylist and salon management to ensure their safety, and the safety of other clients and staff.
We require a 24-hour notice for cancellations. We require a credit card to hold the appointment. In the event that you have to reschedule or cancel and are unable to notify us 24 hours in advance, you will be charged 50% of the cost of your appointment. If you NO CALL/NO SHOW we will charge you 100% of your scheduled appointment. Cancellations must be done by speaking with the front desk or leaving a voicemail. Please, no cancellations via email.
